Jean — Master Chef and CEO
From a girl who loves sweets, she became a mom who loves making them. She could not bear the extra calories from desserts she did not love.
One of her little girls once got a “sugar high” from a high-end store-bought sweet. We now know that is not really the sugar — it is more likely the artificial colourings, flavours and the many unnecessary add-ons. That episode frightened her into making sweets herself, for her own little ones.
The learning curve for chiffon was long. She keeps at it for the parents who would like to bake for their kids but do not have the time.
One lifetime, one encounter.
Her cakes are not the most beautiful you will ever have — they are the most natural, rustic and delicate. What matters is the time we share.
